Seven rules for eating healthy on the road
If you’re travelling on business or pleasure and you’re conscious about your health and weight, you wouldn’t want to derail your weight loss goals with just one trip. Here are some tips on how to stay healthy on the road.
Plan ahead – Pack your favourite snacks to help sustain you till your next meal. This can include snacks like beef jerky, dark chocolate chips, nuts, and individual peanut butter packets.
Know where you’re going – Use an app like AroundME when you’re travelling, to find local healthier restaurant chains like Chipotle or Sweet Tomatoes.
Eat every 2 to 3 hours – Keep yourself satisfied and avoid getting hungry, by snacking on healthy snacks every 2-3 hours.
